Goku vs Saitama: Who Would Win?
One guy spent his whole life trying to get stronger. The other got so strong he got bored. It's the classic anime question, and it finally gets a real answer.
Let's look a bit at their backstory:
Goku has fought gods, angels' pupils, and Jiren, one of the toughest warriors in the universe, and he's still not done improving. Ultra Instinct lets his body dodge on its own. Instant Transmission lets him pop up behind you before you finish blinking. And when things look bad, he does his favorite thing: levels up in the middle of the fight.
Saitama on the other hand trained until he lost his hair and his sense of challenge. One Punch Man isn't a joke title. He ended Boros, an alien conqueror with insane regeneration, with a single hit. When Garou kept evolving to match him, Saitama just kept getting stronger too. The scary part is that nobody has seen where his limit is, including him.
If these two were to engage in a blood battle, here's how it'll play out:
Goku starts in Ultra Instinct, landing clean hits. Saitama takes them with the expression of a man waiting for a bus. But every exchange pushes Goku further, and when Saitama finally gets serious, the shockwaves start tearing up the sky. Goku has to teleport and dodge while hitting back with everything he has.
Saitama's ceiling is a mystery, and that makes this close. But he has never trained to improve mid-fight. Goku has done it his whole life, and that growth is the difference he needs to put an end to this fight.
The Verdict
Goku wins, roughly 60-40.
Saitama might hit harder on his best day, but Goku has the proven feats and the constant growth. Honestly, though, it would probably end with them both grinning and asking who wants to go again.
