BREAKING: Gokurakugai' Anime Adaptation Officially Greenlit For Anime

The neon-lit, monster- nfested streets of the Paradise District are officially coming to the screen.
Shueisha has announced that Yuto Sano's hit supernatural action manga, Gokurakugai, is getting a TV anime adaptation, and the very first teaser visual dropped today.
What Fans Should Expect:
Gokurakugai takes place in a bright, bustling working class district that hides a deeply dangerous dark side. It's a city full of crime, missing persons, and terrifying, human-eating monsters known as "Disaster Beasts" or Maga.
The series follows an unlikely but incredibly lethal duo who work as professional troubleshooters for hire. They take on any job as long as the price is right.
The duo consists of Tao, a cool, gun-toting human who uses special bullets, and her partner Alma, an energetic 15yr half maga, half human hybrid who fights with immense supernatural power.
A Fast Track to Success
Since it began serialization in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine in July 2022, Gokurakugai has been on an absolute banger.
The manga quickly amassed over 1.4 million copies in circulation and has consistently ranked high in polls asking fans what manga they most want to see animated next. Now, that wish is finally a reality.
While the exact release window and the animation studio behind the project are yet to be revealed, the first teaser visual has already set high expectations.
