📺 Fool Night is set in a dystopian future where Earth has been trapped in constant darkness for around 100 years. With plants dying and oxygen becoming scarce, humanity develops “Transfloration,” a technology that transforms humans into plants to produce the oxygen needed to keep society alive. The story follows Toshiro Kamiya, a young man struggling with poverty and his mother’s medical expenses, as he chooses the path of becoming a Spiriflor. But after the transformation, he discovers he can communicate with plants, leading him into a much deeper mystery. The anime is being produced by SUNRISE and SHAFT and will premiere worldwide exclusively on Netflix on November 26, 2026.
